Tourist in Copenhagen: Wether you're a tourist or just curious and want to know more about Copenhagen, before you visit Copenhagen, you can read much more about the city, the best attractions, the different parts of the city or Copenhagens history. The history of Copenhagen is the history of Denmark, just as Denmarks history is that of Copenhagen. Ever since Bishop Absalon built his Castle at Havn in 1167, the city has been a leading player in Denmarks history. The history of the city can be read clearly in its external appearance, with the many magnificent Renaissance buildings. Despite evolving into a major capital, Copenhagen is still a small city.
