Palads is a gigantic cinema complex in the center of Copenhagen. Coming from Hovedbanegården (the Central Station), you can't help noticing the colors of this building. Palads is a palace of amusement and entertainment, containing 17 screens of varying sizes. Unless you go for intellectual films, you will find almost everything you want playing here.

Palads aims to please a very wide audience, showing a lot of children's films as well. The lobby itself is an experience, with an exciting mix of crowds, colors and candy. Some of the screens are of a high standard, but there are a few towards the lower end, too.
